Privacy Policy

Swift Flow Digital operates the digital workflow connected with the Scotch Cask Insights Facebook Page and related Meta/Facebook developer tools.

This Privacy Policy explains how information may be accessed, used, and protected when our Meta/Facebook app is used to manage Page publishing, Page administration, and Page content verification.

Information We Access

Our app may access limited information provided through Meta/Facebook permissions, including:

  • The list of Facebook Pages that the authorized account manages.
  • Basic Page information needed to identify the correct Page.
  • Page posts, photos, publishing status, and related Page engagement information.
  • Technical identifiers returned by Meta/Facebook after a Page post or photo is created.

We do not request follower passwords, payment information, government identification, or unrelated personal data.

How We Use Information

We use Meta/Facebook permissions only for legitimate Page management purposes, including:

  • Publishing approved content to the Scotch Cask Insights Facebook Page.
  • Confirming that a Page post or photo was created successfully.
  • Checking whether a Page post is published, public, hidden, or otherwise restricted.
  • Preventing duplicate publication of the same daily post.
  • Maintaining operational records for content workflow reliability and compliance.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use Meta/Facebook data for unrelated advertising, profiling, or resale.

Meta/Facebook Permissions

Our app may use the following Meta/Facebook permissions where approved by Meta:

  • pages_show_list, to identify Pages managed by the authorized account.
  • pages_manage_posts, to create and manage posts or photos on the authorized Page.
  • pages_read_engagement, to verify Page content status and read Page engagement-related information.

These permissions are used only for Pages that the authorized account is permitted to manage.

Data Storage and Security

Operational records may be stored securely in local workflow files or private systems controlled by Swift Flow Digital. These records may include post IDs, publishing timestamps, Page IDs, validation status, and non-sensitive workflow logs.

Access tokens and credentials are treated as confidential and are not published, sold, or shared publicly. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect workflow data from unauthorized access.

Data Sharing

We do not sell Meta/Facebook data or personal information.

We may share limited information only when necessary to:

  • Operate the Meta/Facebook Page publishing workflow.
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, platform, or security obligations.
  • Investigate technical issues, abuse, unauthorized access, or policy violations.

Data Retention

We retain operational records only for as long as reasonably needed to operate, audit, troubleshoot, and improve the Page publishing workflow.

If access is no longer required, credentials may be revoked and related operational records may be deleted or archived according to workflow and compliance needs.
